Orange County Robotics League of California

The Orange County Robotics League encourages the formation and support of robotics teams in the schools and youth organizations of Orange County, California. We offer students opportunities for hands-on applications of science, mathematics, and engineering technologies, in the design and construction of competition robots and provide a platform in which teams may participate in local, regional, state and national robotics competitions. Southern California Fall Workshop Day at CSUN

November 1st is the 2008 Robotics Fall Workshop Day at California State University at Northridge. We will be offering a wide variety of workshops and demonstrations throughout the day to help teams prepare for the upcoming robotics season and various FIRST and VEX competitions. 2nd Annual SMI/Mt. San Antonio College VEX Robotics Invitational.
The SMI/Mt. SAC event is an official qualifying event for the VEX Robotics World Championship Tournament on April 30 - May 2, 2009. This competition is limited to the first 36 teams to register. The entry fee is $50, +$25 for additional teams from the same organization. Register at www.RobotEvents.com

CAMS VEX Robotics League Competitions.
Teams registered for this league will have two primary events to compete in, one on November 22, 2008 and one on May 30, 2008. The top 2 teams at the conclusion of the November 22nd event will also qualify for the VEX Robotics Championship of the Americas Championship and the VEX Robotics World Championship, both in April 2009.

Los Angeles Vex Robotics Competition Championship
at Cal State Northridge
A gathering of top VEX robotics teams from around the region will gather to celebrate their accomplishments and compete with/against each other. Top teams from this event will qualify for both the VEX Robotics Championship of the Americas and the VEX Robotics Competition World Championship events, both in April 2009. Initial registration is limited to two teams from each school.
A waiting list will be created for schools with additional teams interested in participating.
